Mantras for the nine Planets
Each planet has its own mantra that invokes the name of the spiritual form of the planet. If a particular planet in the Vedic oracle is under attack or is causing attacks and thus difficulties, it is recommended that the mantra* of this planet be recited 108 times a day in the morning. This is best done in the cardinal direction assigned to the planet. As the sun rises in the east in the morning and is in the south at midday in our latitudes, you can always easily determine the other cardinal points. The energy and power of the assigned planet is most present in the respective direction.
In order to transform the negativity of a particular planet, you can therefore turn to the respective avatar (embodiment of divine consciousness) with the help of the corresponding mantra. The following list shows you the affirmations associated with the mantras.
These affirmations should accompany the recitation of the spiritual planetary mantra. The mantra is best recited 108 times in the morning. You should first attune yourself to the inner task through the affirmation and then speak the mantra in this consciousness. Even after reciting the mantra 108 times, the affirmation should be brought to mind. After recitation, the sound creates a space of inner silence that has great spiritual power. Every intention that is placed in this space is given a special boost.
